The Byard story began in the 1800s with 'Byard Builders', a family business that left an indelible mark on the local landscape.

Known for constructing many of the Gloucester's churches and significant buildings, the Byard family earned a reputation for quality, integrity, and community service. Their contributions to the area were so impactful that a local road bears the family name, a lasting tribute to their legacy.

Inspired by this heritage, Ben founded Byard Electrical in 2013 to bring the same commitment to quality and trust to the electrical industry. Since then, we’ve grown into a trusted name in the community, consistently delivering outstanding results for our clients.

The Byard family have long been an integral part of the Gloucester community, as exemplified here by Arthur Victor Byard, who served as the landlord of Kingsholm Inn during the 1920s- not long after his great uncle's company built St Catherine's Church on London Road in 1915.
